JLC Golf and more, located in Scarborough, an established importer and wholesaler in golf, promotional products. We are currently looking to add a detail-oriented; results focused Customer Service Rep. to our office.
The Customer Service Representative carries out all customer service activities such as responding to inquiries, processing orders and receipts and handling complaints in a prompt, courteous and effective manner.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Cooperates in a good working relationship with customers by responding to all inquiries concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, etc. in a courteous and effective manner, by calls, emails, online, walk in.
• Processes and inputs all customer orders and evaluate alternate supply for backorders
• Produces stock reports to check for product availability and order status
• Produces all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders
• Provide digital mock up by Illustrator
• Coordinates shipping requests with the shipping couriers, expediting any order as necessary
• Provides follow up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met
• Assures proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer generated invoices
• Prepares shipping and tracing information to customers as required
• Maintains back order logs
• Communicates customer feedback to management.
• Acts as a liaison between the Manufacturer Representatives and customer to give status updates, between the warehouse and the customer in administration of the accounts and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes
• Maintains current and accurate procedure manual, which details the processing requirements for each account
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• 1 year experience as a customer service in wholesale/distribution
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel knowledge
• Knowledge of Illustrator an asset
• Chinese-Mandarian an asset
• High school diploma required. Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Operations Management, or Graphic Design an asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Skilled at providing exceptional customer service over the phone and email
• Prioritizes work flow to ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Works effectively as part of a team
Language: English, Chinese.
Working hour and Pay:
· Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm , 1 hour lunch non pay, 2 paid break time
· Salary + commission
