                        Btrust Supermarket is established in 2008 with Head Office located in Oakville. We build our professional management team through widely selection in order to attract the most experienced candidates in the field. Our goal is to introduce diverse food culture to every family table. Our three local supermarkets occupy over 60,000 square feet and Each store has more than 40,000 different products in stock .
The ideal candidate will be a Full Cycle Bookkeeper with experienced skill level and formal training; having maintained a minimum of a Bookkeeper Certificate and/or Accounting Certificate and/or Diploma.
The salary will be $15-25/HR, it depends on work experiences.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Specific skills include reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance, post journal entries, calculate fixed asset and depreciation
- Maintain general ledgers, cash and financial statements
- Keep financial records and establish maintain and balance various accounts as required
- Government Remittances
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Maintain and prepare year end documentation for accountant
- Maintain and prepare Excel spreadsheets
- Full commend, knowledge, and full cycle bookkeeping - performing full-cycle accounting functions a solid understanding of job costing
- CRA Regulations (WSIB, Source Deductions, EHT, HST, T4 etc) Comply with government reporting requirements
- Reconcile and maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts
- Ability to identify problems and implement solutions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Well-organized to meet tight deadline
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Financial and/or Accounting Diploma required
- Excellent and advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, Sage50, Advance knowledge/Expert in Excel (Required)
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- 2 years working experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Sage 50
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Bookkeeping, Accounting or Business Administration Certificate or Diploma
- Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin or Cantonese for both written and spoken
