Viceroy is a leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of panelized and pre-cut custom home packages. We are a company dedicated to one purpose: helping you build a luxurious custom home in the most affordable way. Viceroy has a property of 25 acres at Port Hope, with manufacturing area of 140,000 square feet; our five major products are panelized wall, roof truss, window and components with our own extrusion, hardwood floor with finishing, kitchen/washroom/ closet cabinets with finishing, moulding and trims.
Job description:
Full cycle bookkeeping;
Manage accounts receivable including billings, invoicing, and collections process;
Review payroll, including final review of payroll calculations, processing payment, and processing required remittance (coordinate with our outside accountant);
Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations;
Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances;
Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit, and loss statements and balance sheets; Report financial results on a regular basis to management;
Comply with local, provincial, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings (coordinate with our outside accountant);
Answering phone calls, email, and looking after office needs;
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree/diploma in accounting or related field considered an asset;
Strong bookkeeping skills;
Proficiency in Quick books (at least 2 years of experience);
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced, professional office environment;
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
Proficiency in MS excel, Office and Word;
Ability to deal with clients in a professional manner;
Bilingual in English and Chinese mandarin is a plus.
