Our Quebec facilities are conducting a recruitment initiative to hire a large volume of external manufacturing talent for Plant 1, Plant 5 and Mirabel. Plant 22’sManagement and HR will work with their Quebec counterparts to host a career fair in the Plant 22 auditorium on Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29. This career fair will be specifically recruiting skilled external manufacturers with a background in aircraft engine maintenance and mechanical assembly. Though Mississauga is currently recruiting, the focus of the career fair will be for P&WC’s Quebec sites, due to their specific needs.
Should an individual in your network have the experience required and who is additionally open to relocation, we invite you to pass the information along. Summary of the qualifications and details of the career fair are below:
Dates:
Friday, September 28 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Saturday, September 29 from 10:00am – 3:00pm
Longueil positions
Secondary school vocational diploma in mechanical assembly, machining techniques or any related field (sheetmetal, industrial mechanics, etc.)
Attestation of collegial studies or diploma (ACS/DCS) in aeronautical maintenance
Degree in aircraft engine maintenance (military qualification)
Diploma of college studies (DCS) in mechanics, aerospace engineering or work experience in the aerospace sector
Mississauga positions
2 years of technical college in aircraft trades
Minimum 2 years of experience in the aircraft field preferred
Awareness of EH&S and continuous improvement initiatives
Must possess a high degree of mechanical aptitude and be able to problem solve effectively
