We, Altima Telcome, as a telecommunication company currently seeking Technicians to join our winning team in Toronto office!
JOBPURPOSE
Telephone support for all Altima Telecom Internet Customers.
Support includes but is not limited to over the phone setup procedures and troubleshooting of DSL and Cable internet connections.
QUALIFICATIONS& MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Fluent English Speaker
Bilingualism is must (English and Mandarin-Cantonese (optional))
Willing to work on Saturdays
Previous call center experience is an asset
Ability to provide excellent customer service in all situations. Ability to communicate technical terms in a non-technical format that our customers canunder stand for trouble shooting purposes
Excellent telephone and email skills are essential in the day to day tasks, ability to keep calm in fast paced environment is a must.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair internet connectivity
Config Devices such as Modem, router and phone adaptor (home use level)
Requires basic knowledge of LAN/WAN inter networking concepts and technologies, including but not limited to routing, bridging, network topologies, TCP/IP and other transport protocols
Provide Tier 1 technical support to end user customers ( training will provide)
Setup new internet customers in various different systems
Call center experience will be an asset
