We are looking for a Point of Sale Terminals Repair Technician (L3) to join our team.
You will be responsible for repairing different terminal models and manufactureres.
Responsibilities:
1. Triaging terminals - analyzing and diagnosing terminals
2. Validading customer complaints
3. Obtaining repair parts
4. Repairing the terminals (e.g. loading software, replacing components, soldering parts etc)_ following manufacturer standards and procedures
5. Recording and logging procedures and parts
6. Report recurring issues, quality issues and offer improvement suggestions
7. Record repair procedures
8. Train peers
Qualifications
1. Previous 2-3 years experience repairing POS Terminals
2. Skilled and experienced in practices, methods, materials, tools and equipment of electronic technician trade
3. Maintain and repair typical electronic systems
4. Order and receive parts and components
5. Utilization of system utilities, networking and verification tools to diagnose equipment
6. Tracking, reviewing and logging repairs
Educations and Other Requirements
1. Post secondary education in Computer Science /IT or related field of study
2. Experience troubleshooting and repairing POS hardware and software
3. 1-2 years experience in the payment industry required
4. Knowledge of support tools
5. Fluent in English (reading, writing and verbal)
