CIK Telecom is one of the largest telecommunication companies in Canada, offering High Speed Internet, Digital Home Phone and IPTV. CIK is registered as a licensed carrier with the CRTC (Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission) since 2003. CIK headquarters is located in Toronto and has offices in Montreal, Vancouver, and overseas. We are looking for friendly, responsible, enthusiastic, dynamic and detail-oriented individuals to join our Technical Support team.
Responsibilities:
-Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks for DSL/Cable internet, Digital Home Phone, and IPTV services
-Develop strong understanding of company’s products
-Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
-Produce timely and detailed service reports
-Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
-Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
-Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
-Build positive relationships with customers
-Assist other departments to follow up any customer issues
-Other responsibilities assigned by management
Qualifications:
-Minimum Grade 12 or equivalency
-Telecommunications experience and knowledge about DSL, Cable CPE would be an asset
-Knowledge about networking/computer ect.
-Previous experience working in a customer service setting an asset
-Energetic with excellent communication skills and positive attitude
-Flexibility to work hours and overtimes
-Fluent English (written & verbal)
-A valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean drive’s abstract
Other requirements: This position includes outside travel to customers’ premises
