                        Job Description

EA Education Group Inc. is a public company with a head office in Markham.

As our Human Resources Manager, you will:
Full-cycle recruitmentin a rapidly growing organization;
Pre-screen resumes and candidates over the phone, source candidates through online job boards, conduct interviews and extending job offers;
Responsible of the on boarding of new employees and first day orientation;
Track time off for all staff members and contractors;
Track probation periods and eligibility into benefit program;
Employee handbook updates and regular edits to policies;
Conduct exit interviews during off-boarding process;
Develop programs to enhance employee relations and offer employee support to each staff member
Plan and design the company's performance management methods and KPI assessment system, and organize the implementation of KPI assessment
Trustworthy and maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive issues;

QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to prepare documents, presentations, correspondence and spreadsheets
Ability to apply relevant policies, guidelines, legislation and collective agreements with knowledge of employment-related legislation, i.e. ESA, Ontario Human Rights Code, Occupational Health & Safety Act, etc.
Excellent research skills with the ability to compile and analyze data for management decision making
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and work within tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative as appropriate
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bilingual (English & Mandarin)
A college/university diploma or degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience is required
Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) Certification from Human Resources Professional Association would be an asset.
Work experience in human resources in China would be an strong asset.
