Essential responsibilities
Apply customer remittances payment to outstanding receivable balances
Research and resolve payment discrepancies and unidentified payments
Understand the terms and conditions of customers to process credit card charges accordingly
Mail out invoices to customers and collect outstanding receivables
Reconcile of bank and credit card accounts
Assist Customer Service team and the shipping department to enhance daily operations such as processing orders and credit memos
Assist with Accounts Payable transactions as assigned and office administrative tasks
Desired Skills & Experience
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar credential.
Excellent communication skills in English – both verbal and in writing
Comfortable learning new technologies and information systems.
In addition, should be proficient with Microsoft Office, Windows and Google applications
Strong organizational skills, with good attention to detail and accuracy
Previous accounting, billing, A/R, A/P or other clerical experience and QuickBooks is preferred
Experience in Human Resources would be an asset
