Reuters is looking for a strong translator to join our Chinese language desk in Toronto, which is responsible for translating financial news from English to Chinese for Reuters Chinese Language News (RCN). The successful candidate will have strong financial news judgement and provide fast, accurate translation of key news on global markets, in-depth analyses, and trading ideas in Chinese during business hours in the European and North American time zones.


Job Requirements:


University degree or above, in-depth knowledge of international financial markets, across asset classes.
Understanding of clients' needs for global financial news.
At least two years related working experience.
Self-motivated, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Fluent Chinese speaker with strong written Chinese and an excellent command of English
