DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspect and test customer returned computers to identify and troubleshoot the problems
• Diagnose and repair hardware malfunctions and perform the maintenance of computers
• Use testing devices and follow the factory manuals to locate malfunctions in computers
• Assess computer hardware malfunctions to determine the cause of error and apply appropriate actions to correct problems and repair computers in order to maintain operations
• Performance all technical functions following the factory technical manuals, such as installing, maintaining and repairing/replacing electronic components of computers
• Modify and upgrade computers and provide support for both software and hardware
• Monitor performance of equipment and make necessary adjustments to assure quality performance
• Complete work orders in management system.
• Assist manager to finish work in fast pace.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
• College diploma in Electronic Engineering or Computer Studies or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have previous hands on experience with Tier 1 computer hardware components and repair.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
• Needs to be detail oriented
• Possess effective communication skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills are necessary
• Ability to work in pressure.
Working Area: Markham
Working Hours: 3 days/week, 9:00am to 5:30pm except for public holidays
Payroll by cheque monthly.
