详细介绍                                                 Position: Food Service Supervisor (NOC: 6311) Company: Bento Sushi Location: 1650 Bedford Highway, Bedford, NS Job Type: Permanent Full-time Salary: $26,325 annually ($13.50 per hour) for 37.5 hours a week Start date: As soon as possible Bento Sushi is North America’s second largest sushi brand providing the highest quality packaged sushi and ready to heat/made to order hot Asian food. We are a multi-channel business that allows us the ability to provide exclusive and unique relationships with our business partners and in turn create the perfect menu for our customers. We operate over 900 locations in a variety of business channels providing “made fresh, on site daily” products prepared and packaged for grab & go meal solutions. We are currently looking for a Food Service Supervisor who has a passion towards Japanese food to manage a robust food preparation shop at our 1650 Bedford Highway location. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will assist the operations with food production and management activities over the assigned shift. The Food Service Supervisor works with, supports and ensures all team members are performing their job responsibilities and meeting expectations in all areas of their job. Responsibilities 1. Effectively plans, organizes and implements all operational routines and activities during the shift. 2.Assists in daily food prep and production tasks. 3.Takes necessary action to ensure all guests receive exceptional service; anticipates and exceeds the guests’ needs; handles situations and requests immediately in a positive manner. 4.Consistently enforces and maintains all food safety, quality, service and cleanliness standards. 5.Ensures all recipe and food standards are being followed. 6.Monitors and maintains proper staffing levels and labor costs. 7.Creates a friendly atmosphere for employees and guests. 8.Effectively trains team members; provides supervision and direction; is the role model in setting a positive example for the entire team. 9.Supports efforts to maximize sales and profits. Qualifications 1.High school diploma or equivalent. 2.Team building skills with the ability to get results through others. 3.A team player with good communication skills, including verbal and written skills. 4.Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills. 5.Problem solving skills. 6.Must be able and willing to work flexible hours including morning, evening and weekend shift. 7.Ability to lift up to 25lbs. 8.Ability to stand for an extended period of time. 9.NO SUSHI EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – Bento provides all training.
