司机们注意！约克区11条路段限速下周

约克区议会批准将11个路段的限速下调，请司机们注意。

为了让市民了解限速的更改，“新的”标志牌会出现在每个受影响区域的起始位置，悬挂于车速限制标志牌的上方。

据报道，约克区每年检讨车速限制，并考虑多个因素，包括新社区的发展，交通量增加，以及让司机有时间对潜在危险作出反应。

约克区公交服务委员会主席、King镇市长Steve Pellegrini表示：“我们继续看到越来越多的行人和自行车。限速措施保护那些选择公交工具以及驾车出行的人。”

约克区主席兼首席执行官Wayne Emmerson表示，随着社区不断发展，审查和调整限速很重要，以确保适合人们出行方式的变化。

• Yonge Street from Olive Street/Beckett Avenue to Queensville Sideroad — 60 km/h to 50 km/h

• Doane Road from 2nd Concession Road to Leslie Street — 70 km/h to 60 km/h

• Mount Albert Road from Leslie Street to 100 m east of Colonel Wayling Boulevard — 60 km/h to 50 km/h

• Leslie Street/The Queensway South from 244 m south of Ravenshoe Road to 80 m south of Joe Dale Drive — 70 km/h to 60 km/h

• Leslie Street from 840 m south of Holborn Road to 244 m south of Ravenshoe Road — 80 km/h to 70 km/h

• Park Road from Hwy. 48 to 800 m south of Hwy. 48 — 80 km/h to 70 km/h

• Hwy. 7 from Hwy. 50 to Vaughan Valley Boulevard — 80 km/h to 60 km/h

• Hwy. 27 from Hwy. 7 to 500 m south of Nashville Road — 70 km/h to 60 km/h

• Hwy. 27 from 300 m north of Hedgerow Lane to King-Vaughan Road — 80 km/h to 70 km/h

• Weston Road from Teston Road to King-Vaughan Road — 80 km/h to 70 km/h

• Jane Street from 671 m north of Teston Road to King-Vaughan Road – 80 km/h to 70 km/h
