随着圣诞节和新年假期临近，多伦多市政府工作人员再次呼吁民众接种COVID-19加强剂和流感疫苗。
12月初，市政府发起了“Vax the Holidays”假期前疫苗接种活动，并设立了多个临时诊所。市政府工作人员在周一上午发表的一份声明中说，“多伦多公共卫生部门强烈鼓励人们在为期一个月的活动中接种疫苗，以在医院急诊室人满为患的情况下预防严重疾病。”
  图源：CityNews 据悉，自该活动发起以来，已有大约18,400人通过临时流动式疫苗诊所接种了新冠加强剂和流感疫苗。市政府官员表示，作为正在进行的活动的一部分，他们周一（12月19日）会在下列社区中心开设临时诊所：
- Rexdale Community Hub（周二也会在这里）
- Yorkgate Mall
- Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre
- 多伦多公共图书馆的Weston分馆
